Job Description
Job title: Software Developer Role Summary: Develop enterprise‑level pharmacy automation and inventory management software, integrating with electro‑mechanical devices. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, code, test, and refine high‑performance solutions that support prescription dispensing and robotic systems. Expectations: Deliver clean, maintainable code that meets performance and reliability standards. Participate in planning, risk assessment, code reviews, and documentation. Stay current with emerging technologies to enhance product quality and efficiency. Own assigned development tasks and resolve production issues promptly. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and test software components using C# and .NET. - Follow coding standards, best practices, and object‑oriented design principles. - Integrate software with automation hardware (robotic dispensing, inventory). - Conduct performance tuning, disaster‑recovery planning, and database optimization. - Create and maintain design specifications, test plans, and user documentation. - Review code, mentor peers, and contribute to continuous improvement. - Troubleshoot device integration and production incidents. - Collaborate with analysts, technical writers, testers, and mobile (Xamarin) developers. Required Skills: - Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, Windows Forms/WPF, ASP.NET Core. - Experience building distributed systems with established design patterns. - Database design, SQL performance tuning, and backup/recovery concepts. - Mobile app development (Xamarin or equivalent). - Familiarity with device integration, diagnostics, and industrial automation. - Knowledge of pharmacy automation workflows and robotic dispensing. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field. - 3+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years with automation device integration, preferably in pharmacy automation. - Valid knowledge of regulatory standards applicable to healthcare software (e.g., HIPAA, FDA guidance) is advantageous.
