Job Description
**Job Title:** Director – Data Science **Role Summary:** Leads the Data Science function to develop and operationalize advanced machine learning and statistical solutions for digital advertising. Owns greenfield initiatives from concept through production, drives research and innovation, and collaborates cross‑functionally to deliver measurable business impact. **Expectations:** - Deliver end‑to‑end data science projects that improve campaign performance, targeting, bidding, and personalization. - Maintain cutting‑edge knowledge of ML, AI, and ad‑tech methodologies and apply them to real‑world problems. - Partner with engineering, analytics, and product teams to build scalable data pipelines and feature stores. - Communicate insights clearly to technical and business audiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Research emerging data‑science techniques and ad‑tech methods; prototype and evaluate their applicability. - Design, build, and deploy ML models (including deep learning, NLP, recommendation, time‑series forecasting). - Conduct large‑scale data analysis and A/B testing to generate actionable insights. - Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, feature stores, and production monitoring. - Create visual dashboards and presentations for stakeholders. - Mentor junior data scientists and promote best practices. **Required Skills:** - Advanced Python programming; expert SQL for big‑data querying. - Deep expertise in ML algorithms, statistical modeling, deep neural networks, NLP, recommendation engines, time‑series forecasting, causal inference, and experimental design. - Proficiency with ML libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). - Strong data‑visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn). - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline. - No specific certifications required; demonstrated expertise through experience.
