**Job Title:** Cloud Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Designs and implements secure Microsoft Azure-based cloud environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to protect sensitive data. **Expectations:** Minimum 3 years in cloud security engineering with hands-on experience in Azure. Demonstrated ability in secure DevSecOps pipeline management, security incident response, and knowledge of AWS/GCP. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Design and maintain secure Azure cloud architectures aligned with best practices. 2. Implement network segmentation, identity access management (IAM), encryption, and security monitoring. 3. Protect data via access controls, encryption, and secure key management in cloud environments. 4. Develop secure API management processes (authentication, rate limiting, audit). 5. Build/execute automated security testing within DevSecOps pipelines (CI/CD). 6. Collaborate with developers, engineers, and security teams on secure deployment practices. 7. Maintain documentation for cloud security configurations and incident response. 8. Monitor and remediate security alerts from cloud-native and third-party tools. 9. Participate in audits, risk assessments, and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR). 10. Stay current with evolving cloud threats and Azure security innovations. **Required Skills:** - Azure security tools (Security Center, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Azure AD). - Cloud security frameworks (encryption, identity management, network security). - Secure DevOps practices (CI/CD pipeline design, vulnerability scanning integration). - API security (authentication, authorization, audit protocols). - Risk assessment and incident response methodologies. - Familiarity with AWS and Google Cloud platforms. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Technology. - Microsoft Azure certifications (preferably AZ-500/ Azure Security Engineer Associate) desired but not mandatory.
