Job title: Contract Manager Role Summary: Manage the lifecycle of UK supplier contracts for a global law firm, including initiation, negotiation, due diligence, and renewal/termination. Serve as a single point of contact for supplier agreements, provide risk advice to internal stakeholders, maintain and improve the contract management system, and support procurement training and uptake. Expectations: - Act independently within the General Counsel’s office. - Handle multiple concurrent contract initiatives, deadlines, and administrative tasks. - Communicate effectively with senior business service heads and supply‑chain functions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Review and negotiate supplier agreements before execution. 2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, set timelines, and manage implementations. 3. Advise on contractual terms, risks, and best‑practice due‑diligence questions. 4. Maintain and develop the firm’s bespoke contract management system. 5. Deliver training and promote system usage across procurement disciplines. 6. Manage the procurement intake mailbox and related administration.
