Solution Architect (AWS, Infrastructure)
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, deployment, and governance of secure, scalable, and cost‑optimized AWS cloud infrastructure. Serve as a strategic advisor to development, security, operations, and leadership teams, driving cloud best practices, IaC adoption, and modernization initiatives.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 10 years in IT infrastructure with 5+ years focused on AWS architecture and engineering.
- Proven expertise in AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch) and networking (VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, routing, firewalls).
- Hands‑on experience with containerization (EKS, ECS, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Git).
- Strong background in IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevOps automation.
- Deep understanding of security best practices, compliance, and identity management.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related IT field.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design secure, scalable, and cost‑effective AWS infrastructure aligned with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration with developers, operations, security, and leadership.
- Promote IaC using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, defining reference architectures and network topologies.
- Guide cloud migration planning, hybrid integration, and modernization efforts.
- Mentor peers on AWS best practices, cost optimization, and architecture improvements.
- Oversee performance monitoring, disaster recovery, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Manage vendor engagement, budget planning, and contract reviews for cloud services.
