Job Description
**Job title** Project Manager – General Plant Maintenance Capital (GPMC) **Role Summary** Lead and deliver multifaceted GPMC projects focused on process‑safety critical equipment (turbo compressors, auxiliary and BOP systems). Manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk while ensuring compliance with Canadian regulatory, safety, and corporate standards. Coordinate and influence cross‑functional stakeholders, external consultants, vendors, and contractors to achieve safe, cost‑effective outcomes. **Expectations** - Deliver projects on time, within budget, and in line with safety & regulatory requirements. - Drive continuous improvement and value creation in maintenance upgrades. - Maintain high data integrity and quality across all project documentation. - Serve as the primary communication link between internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies. **Key Responsibilities** - Supervise GPMC projects, set and control scope, schedule, cost, and risk. - Manage project budgets, change orders, and variance reporting. - Provide bi‑weekly and monthly performance updates (schedule, cost, risk). - Direct external consultants, vendors, and contractors; ensure alignment on objectives. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand expectations and technical inputs. - Optimize field resources for efficient execution. - Identify data integrity improvements and cost‑saving opportunities. - Support development and implementation of project management tools and standards for regulated programs. - Promote safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. **Required Skills** - Project control and scheduling tools (PIMS, MasterPlan). - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Working knowledge of SAP. - Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills. - Self‑driven initiative with problem‑solving focus. - High attention to safety, compliance, and data integrity. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred). - Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience, ideally in brownfield natural gas upgrade projects and compressor station facilities. - Familiarity with regulated program standards within Canada.
