**Job Title:**
Network & Security Engineer (F/M)
**Role Summary:**
Design, deploy, and maintain security and networking infrastructures, define standards aligned with client security policies, and provide tier‑2/3 support. Manage security and network projects, oversee service processes, and conduct technology watch to ensure optimal architecture and integration.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver security and network solutions that meet defined SLAs.
- Produce clear technical documentation, runbooks, and operating procedures.
- Coordinate with production, project teams, and vendors to ensure timely, quality deployment and support.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Operational Engineering**
- Tier‑2/3 support for production security and network incidents.
- Manage service requests and incidents per SLA.
- Define, implement, and enforce security rule sets and network standards.
2. **Project Management**
- Quantify deployment impact, plan, and monitor all project phases.
- Lead and supervise external vendors, ensuring adherence to contracts.
3. **Technology Watch & Architecture**
- Establish design rules and integration standards for security and networking.
- Support business projects with technical assessments and implementation guidance.
- Ensure proper sizing of security and network infrastructure.
4. **Deliverables**
- Simplified technical solution presentations.
- Technical specification documents.
- Daily operational logs (RUN).
- Operating procedures and N2/N3 support documentation.
**Required Skills:**
- LAN/WLAN, firewall, VPN, proxy, reverse proxy, and switch management expertise.
- Experience with multi‑vendor tools: Stormshield, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Cisco, HP, Aruba, Extreme Networks, Meraki, Aerohive, Ucopia.
- ITIL process knowledge and incident/incident management.
- Ability to write clear documentation and share knowledge within teams.
- Strong analytical skills to measure deployment impact and dimension resources.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Engineer or university degree in IT infrastructure, networking, or related field.
- Practical experience (minimum 2‑3 years) in LAN/WLAN/Firewall engineering.
- Certifications preferred: CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto PA‑CNA, Fortinet NSE 4+, Checkpoint CCSA, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent.
