**Job Title**
Senior ServiceNow Developer – Active Top Secret/DHS Clearance
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications and integrations to support homeland security missions. Deliver secure, high‑quality solutions on a federal platform, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, Section 508 and DHS standards, within an Agile environment.
**Expectations**
- Maintain an active Top Secret or DHS clearance.
- Deliver scalable, secure ServiceNow modules and integrations within sprint timelines.
- Uphold coding standards, documentation, and governance.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams, business analysts, and federal stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, build, and configure ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HR, GRC, etc.) to meet mission requirements.
- Create workflows, dashboards, catalog items, and integration points using REST/SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer.
- Write clean, maintainable JavaScript (Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Scheduled Jobs).
- Implement ATF and unit tests, perform code reviews, manage update sets, and support basic CI/CD (Git branching, peer review, promotion).
- Troubleshoot incidents, resolve defects, and conduct performance tuning.
- Follow secure coding practices and FedRAMP/FISMA/Section 508 guidelines.
- Produce technical documentation, SOPs, and ensure naming conventions and release governance.
- Translate user stories into technical solutions; demo features during sprint reviews.
- Collaborate with BA/PM/architects to trace requirements to delivered functionality; manage Jira epics and stories.
**Required Skills**
- 7+ years of software development experience; 3+ years in a senior ServiceNow role.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, scripting, and integration methods.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, ATF, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, Section 508, and enterprise governance (TRM).
- Ability to design complex workflows, dashboards, and integrations.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field, **or** equivalent experience.
- Active Top Secret clearance or DHS clearance required.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) highly preferred; Architect certifications desirable.
