Job Description
**Job Title** End‑of‑Studies Internship – Private Debt Middle Office **Role Summary** Support the middle‑office team of a fast‑growing independent post‑trade services provider. Act as the agent on private debt placements, integrate and maintain financing data in the PREF‑X platform, and collaborate with issuers, investors, banks, fund managers, and law firms. **Expectations** - Pursuing a university degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field. - Strong analytical rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills. - Excellent oral and written English; French language skills beneficial but not required. - Ability to work collaboratively in a small, client‑facing team. - Interest in a potential full‑time position after the internship. **Key Responsibilities** - Monitor private placement transactions, securities, guarantees, and contractual amendments (waivers, amendments) with issuers, investors, and law firms. - Record and operationally set up financing deals in the PREF‑X monitoring tool; ensure regular updates. - Perform periodic interest calculations, early‑repayment penalties, and other fees; disseminate results to issuers and investors. - Contribute to enhancements and new functionalities of the PREF‑X platform. - Support broader company development initiatives as required. **Required Skills** - Fundamental understanding of capital markets or corporate finance. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and VBA scripting. - Strong quantitative and analytical abilities. - Effective written and verbal communication; relationship‑building aptitude. - Team‑oriented mindset with attention to detail. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s program in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable discipline. - No specific professional certifications required; prior exposure to capital‑markets or corporate‑finance projects is a plus.
