Job Description

**Job title** Industrial Solutions Internship – AVEVA Connect & PI System (M/F) **Role Summary** Support the migration and integration of the AVEVA PI System with SSO, Wonderware, Aveva Connect, and OPC DA/UA sources. Act as a technical support liaison for operational teams working on innovative industrial projects, while gaining hands‑on experience in cloud‑integrated industrial data solutions. **Expectations** - Obtain in‑depth knowledge of AVEVA PI System data collection, analysis, and cloud integration. - Understand SSO authentication and secure access concepts. - Learn architectural integration between industrial systems, cloud services, and OPC (DA & UA) sources. - Apply theoretical knowledge to a real-world industrial project. - Communicate effectively in English (written and spoken). - Work fully on‑site for the duration of the internship. **Key Responsibilities** - Migrate PI System to Single Sign‑On (SSO). - Create and configure a Wonderware instance and connect it to the PI System. - Establish connectivity between PI System and Aveva Connect. - Connect PI System to OPC DA and OPC UA data sources. - Provide technical support to operational teams on innovative projects. - Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in industrial data systems (PI System, Wonderware, Aveva Connect). - Familiarity with SSO authentication and secure access mechanisms. - Knowledge of OPC DA/UA protocols and integration strategies. - Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously. - Creative application of engineering software tools. - Excellent written and spoken English. - Curiosity, persistence, and passion for real‑time industrial data. **Required Education & Certifications** - Ongoing Bachelor’s (BAC+5) or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial 4.0, Embedded Systems, Industrial IT, or Electronics. - Relevant coursework or projects in industrial data systems, cloud integration, or embedded computing.
