Job Description
**Job Title** Senior IT License Procurement Consultant (M/F) **Role Summary** Provide specialized procurement and contract management services for enterprise software licenses (Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, etc.). Analyze complex technical environments, audit usage and entitlements, model cost savings, negotiate terms with vendors, and advise clients on strategic license decisions. **Expectations** - Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software license procurement or IT contract management. - Demonstrated success in negotiations that deliver measurable cost reductions. - Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to influence senior stakeholders. - Passion for IT and commitment to delivering tangible operational impact. **Key Responsibilities** - Review, interpret and optimize software license agreements. - Conduct entitlement and usage audits to identify over‑ or under‑provisioning. - Build financial models that quantify savings and recommend optimization actions. - Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and renewal conditions with vendors or resellers. - Advise clients on technical, financial and contractual aspects of license decisions. - Support clients in establishing governance frameworks for future license procurement. - Stay current with licensing regulations, market trends, and vendor offerings. **Required Skills** - Contract analysis & compliance - Vendor negotiation & relationship management - Data analysis and financial modelling (Excel, PowerBI, etc.) - Technical understanding of enterprise software licensing models - Stakeholder communication and influence - Problem‑solving and strategic thinking **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or related field. - Preferred certifications: ITIL, PMP, Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), or vendor‑specific licensing credentials.
