Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Analyst **Role Summary:** Business Analyst in health‑care claims and formulary management. Collaborates across functional and technical teams to translate customer business requirements into product features, ensuring timely delivery and optimal operational performance. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate and complete business requirements documentation. - Maintain clear, continuous communication with account managers, customers, and technical leads. - Identify and resolve gaps in functional documentation, testing and configuration. - Support solution design, impact analysis, and solution implementation. - Travel to customer sites up to twice per year as needed. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gather, analyze, and document customer process flows, gaps, and needs. - Work with technical leads to generate and evaluate solution concepts. - Conduct impact analysis and scenario re‑creation to validate requirements. - Facilitate clarification sessions with customers and account managers during the design phase. - Manage and facilitate Functional Requirements Documentation (FRD) walkthroughs. - Identify and flag missed or incomplete FRD elements to developers. - Participate in configuration, testing, and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. - Execute additional duties as assigned by the manager. **Required Skills:** - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail. - Experience with utilization management processes (Prior Authorization) across lines of business. - Familiarity with health plans, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), and specialty pharmacy is a plus. - Ability to work independently within a small team. - Highly organized, flexible, and a collaborative team player. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Health Services Management, or related field. - Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI‑PBA) preferred. ---
