Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Intern Role Summary: - 3‑4 month paid internship in Engineering Research & Development. - Participate in research, testing, manufacturing audits, data analysis, process improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration. Expectations: - Contribute ideas and solutions from day one. - Engage in hands‑on projects that impact the business and broader environment. - Collaborate effectively in team settings and attend relevant meetings. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with research, testing, and evaluations. - Process documentation and conduct data analysis. - Conduct manufacturing audits. - Attend department, team, and project meetings. - Support process improvement initiatives tied to manufacturing. - Collaborate with engineers, teams, and other departments. Required Skills: - Strong problem‑identification and solution‑conceptualization skills. - Ability to prototype solutions for manufacturing challenges. - Teamwork and collaborative mindset. - Preferred knowledge in CAD/3D modeling, machining, data analysis, Lean/continuous improvement, or automation. Required Education & Certifications: - Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program (Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, Bioengineering, Petroleum Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field). - Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (preferred). - Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship). - Anticipated graduation by May 2027.
