Job Description
**Job Title** Director of Information Systems (F/M) **Role Summary** Strategic leader responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and evolution of the group’s IT infrastructure and applications. Drives digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives (AI, IoT, cobots, data analytics, digital twins) while aligning the SI with business, financial, and regulatory objectives. Leads a multidisciplinary IT team and acts as a trusted advisor to senior management. **Expectations** - Define and execute an IT strategy that supports growth, competitiveness, certification, and international expansion. - Align infrastructure, applications, data, and security with business goals. - Manage IT budgets, optimize costs, and achieve economies of scale. - Provide regular, results‑oriented reporting to the executive board. - Foster team cohesion, development, and high engagement. - Ensure compliance with GDPR, EUDR, FSC, PEFC, ISO and other relevant regulations. - Prioritize and arbitrate strategic IT projects (ERP, WMS, BI, collaborative tools, EDI). - Maintain a continuous technology and regulatory watch to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation. **Key Responsibilities** - **IT Governance & Strategy:** Set SI roadmap, monitor KPIs, and ensure cross‑functional coherence. - **Budget & Financial Management:** Develop, track, and control the IT budget; identify cost‑saving opportunities. - **Leadership & Organization:** Supervise and motivate the group‑wide IT team; promote skill development and knowledge sharing. - **Operational Oversight:** Ensure system availability, performance, and security; implement tools for regulatory compliance and data integrity. - **Project Prioritization:** Lead the selection, planning, and delivery of ERP, WMS, MES, BI, EDI, and other strategic projects. - **Digital & Industry 4.0 Transformation:** Deploy IoT, cobot, AI, analytics, and digital twin solutions; drive innovation and continuous improvement. **Required Skills** - Minimum 15 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in senior IT management within a multi‑site industrial environment. - Deep knowledge of ERP, WMS, MES, EDI, BI, and reporting tools. - Proven expertise in Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, cobots, data analytics, AI, digital twins). - Strong strategic vision combined with hands‑on operational leadership. - Budgeting, financial control, and KPI‑driven reporting capabilities. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and change‑leadership skills. - Ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and ensure compliance. - Fluent in French and English (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, TOGAF, CISSP) are a plus.
