Account Manager
**Role Summary**
The Account Manager independently expands a defined commercial territory, driving revenue growth and sustaining long‑term relationships with corporate clients and external experts. The role blends business development, consultative selling, talent matchmaking, and operational oversight to deliver end‑to‑end project success.
**Expectations**
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for the assigned portfolio.
- Build and manage a pipeline of new and existing client accounts, including C‑level purchasers and senior IT/Procurement stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a high‑value network of freelancers and advisory firms, ensuring optimal talent fit for client projects.
- Maintain a rigorous focus on operational excellence, compliance, and financial performance.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Client & Portfolio Development**
- Identify prospects and account segments with high growth potential.
- Conduct needs assessments, prepare tailored proposals, and close deals.
- Perform regular account reviews to reinforce loyalty and position the firm as a strategic partner.
2. **Talent Network Management**
- Recruit, vet, and retain a robust community of experts and agencies.
- Match qualified talent to client requirements, negotiating terms and ensuring contract compliance.
3. **Project & Performance Oversight**
- Monitor deliverables, budgets, and KPIs for active engagements (revenue, margin, volume, closing rate).
- Liaise with Finance, Legal, and Operations to secure timely invoicing, contract execution, and regulatory adherence.
4. **Revenue & Growth Management**
- Forecast sales pipelines, update dashboards, and report performance to senior leadership.
- Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities within the portfolio.
**Required Skills**
- Proven business‑development acumen; experience in complex B2B sales cycles (C‑level, procurement, IT).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; comfortable using data to drive decisions.
- Mastery of CRM systems, digital sales tools, and AI applications (e.g., ChatGPT, automation workflows).
- Excellent written and spoken English; cross‑functional communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, autonomous, results‑oriented.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) with a specialization or double degree, or Master’s (Bac+5) from a business or engineering school.
- 0–2 years of experience in business development, consulting, or a start‑up environment.
- No mandatory certifications; however, a background in sales or digital marketing tools is advantageous.
