**Job Title**
Infrastructure Analyst - Intermediate - Server/Systems Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, maintain, and evolve server/systems infrastructure, ensuring uptime, security, and compliance to support critical healthcare operations. Collaborate across departments to deliver technical solutions and mentor teams.
**Expectations**
Candidates must demonstrate hands-on IT infrastructure experience, technical leadership, and the ability to translate complex solutions into actionable insights. Strong collaboration skills with internal stakeholders and a customer-focused mindset are required.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and manage Active Directory environments (1,000+ users), Azure Entra ID accounts, and permissions.
- Implement storage/backup strategies for data retention, disaster recovery, and system availability.
- Maintain messaging infrastructure (Microsoft Exchange) and implement message hygiene.
- Administer Microsoft Windows Server, cloud environments, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Xen).
- Secure systems using CrowdStrike, endpoint protection, encryption, and best practices.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for critical applications and infrastructure, including on-call availability.
- Mentor helpdesk staff, conduct audits, and support privacy/compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, design solutions, and deliver technical documentation.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences for alignment and execution.
- Participate in vendor management, RFP/RFQ processes, and proof-of-concept testing for emerging technologies.
**Required Skills**
- Expertise in Windows Server, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V/Xen), cloud administration, and enterprise storage.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, Microsoft Exchange, and CrowdStrike endpoint security.
- Strong knowledge of disaster recovery, system availability, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Effective communication, stakeholder collaboration, and technical mentoring capabilities.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and PMP project management principles (preferred).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience.
- MCSE or CompTIA certifications (preferred).
