Job Description
**Job Title** Sonder Responder **Role Summary** Provide on‑site emergency and non‑emergency support to Sonder members, delivering immediate care and assistance in critical situations. Act as the primary face of the Response Network, engaging stakeholders, training partners, and contributing to operational improvement while maintaining high standards of empathy and professionalism. **Expectations** - Demonstrated experience in the UK emergency services, mental health, or wellbeing sector. - Proven ability to assess, manage, and de‑escalate traumatic or critical incidents. - Comfortable working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) populations and vulnerable individuals. - Strong communication, decision‑making, and interpersonal skills in a fast‑paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Respond to onsite emergencies and non‑emergency support requests promptly. - Conduct stakeholder engagement to support business and operational outputs. - Foster partnership relations, delivering training and engagement activities. - Provide input on operational procedures, network management, and quality improvement. - Assist at customer events to promote understanding and use of the Sonder platform. - Maintain accurate incident documentation and reports. **Required Skills** - Crisis assessment & management - Empathy and emotional intelligence - Cultural competence / CALD sensitivity - Effective communication & stakeholder engagement - Team collaboration and teamwork - Decision‑making under pressure - Knowledge of mental health protocols and safety regulations **Required Education & Certifications** - UK‑qualified emergency services, mental health or wellbeing professional (e.g., qualified psychiatric nurse, counsellor, paramedic). - Valid National Police Check and DBS check (mandatory). - Relevant NVQ/HND or equivalent in health & social care or emergency response preferred. ---
