**Job Title:** Product Manager / Senior Product Manager – Pharmaceutical Marketing
**Role Summary:**
Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing tactics for pharmaceutical products, primarily therapies for rare pulmonary hypertension and related conditions. Own cross‑functional initiatives, collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and key opinion leaders (KOLs), and drive data‑informed, brand‑aligned strategies from conception through launch and ongoing promotion.
**Expectations:**
- Own marketing initiatives for assigned product(s) or portfolio.
- Contribute to annual brand marketing plans (strategy, positioning, messaging, tactics).
- Track, analyze, and report on KPI performance of owned tactics.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with sales, medical, regulatory, and external partners (agencies, KOLs).
- Support field sales execution, training, and inventory management.
- Participate in promotional review board (PRB) discussions and compliance coordination.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop, schedule, and deliver marketing tactics from concept to launch.
- Coordinate with agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment.
- Build and maintain relationships with KOLs and target audiences.
- Conduct market research, audience segmentation, and competitive analysis.
- Define and monitor KPIs for owned initiatives; prepare performance reports.
- Manage individual or project budgets, deliverables, and contracts.
- Facilitate communication between sales, marketing, and other functional teams.
- Attend field ride‑alongs to understand user experience and optimize resource use.
- Lead PRB discussions, prepare collateral, and negotiate access strategies.
- For Senior PMs: oversee large, complex, multi‑faced initiatives and mentor junior team members.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong understanding of disease state, product portfolio, competitive landscape, and payer market.
- Experience developing comprehensive marketing plans and tactics.
- Budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management proficiency.
- Data‑driven decision making with KPI analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with KOLs and external partners.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharma industry; familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience for Product Manager; 5 + years for Senior Product Manager.
- Certifications such as Certified Product Manager (CPM) or Pharma Marketing Certification are desirable.
