Job Description

Job Title: Management Consultant Role Summary: Provide strategic consulting services to government, defence, and regulated sector clients. Leverage existing SC clearance to deliver high‑impact, cost‑effective business change initiatives across a range of industries. Expactations: * Active Secret clearance required. * Extensive experience in consulting roles (Business Consultant, Analyst, Senior Manager, Partner, or Programme Director). * Prior work with governmental or regulated clients preferred. * Ability to operate independently while engaging with a network of over 20,000 independent consultants. * Strong communication, stakeholder management, and adaptability. * Willingness to travel to UK client sites as needed. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage end‑to‑end consulting engagements, including scoping, analysis, design, and implementation. * Develop and present insights, recommendations, and roadmaps to senior client leaders. * Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external vendors to deliver solutions on time and within budget. * Maintain and grow client relationships, ensuring repeat business and referrals. * Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and providing proposal support. * Mentor junior consultants within the network and share best practices. * Adhere to all regulatory and security requirements, preserving client data confidentiality. Required Skills: * Proven consulting methodology (e.g., McKinsey 7S, SWOT, Porter’s Five Forces). * Strong analytical skills – ability to interpret complex data sets and produce actionable conclusions. * Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation. * Project management proficiency, including resource planning and budget control. * Ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative network environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Public Policy, or related field (Master’s preferred). * Prior consulting experience of 5+ years (ex‑Big4 accepted). * Valid UK right to work and active Secret clearance. * Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus. ---
