**Job Title:** DevOps Engineer **Role Summary** Engineer and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for mission-critical applications, with a focus on secure, scalable DevOps practices. Requires leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration in a high-performance, fast-paced environment. **Expectations** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 2 years managing Kubernetes platforms (Rancher/EKS). - Minimum 2 years in CI/CD methodologies and pipeline automation. - Minimum 2 years in systems analysis, performance tuning, and automation tools (e.g., Ansible). - Strong Linux systems administration and networking expertise. - Active Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Ansible. - Manage Kubernetes platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security compliance. - Analyze system performance, troubleshoot downtimes, and optimize hardware/software efficiency. - Collaborate with programmers to align system specifications with evolving functional requirements. - Evaluate and integrate COTS solutions, system upgrades, and automation improvements. **Required Skills** - Linux systems administration and networking principles. - Problem-solving and troubleshooting technical challenges. - Proficiency in CI/CD tools and methodologies. - Expertise in automation tools (e.g., Ansible). - Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Commitment to security protocols and compliance. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent. - Active Top Secret security clearance. - U.S. citizenship required. - Preferred certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Security+.
