Job Description
**Job Title** Clinical Informatics Manager **Role Summary** Bridge clinical practice and digital technology to improve client care, operational efficiency, and data integrity. Lead the design, implementation, training, optimization, and evaluation of electronic health information systems and data governance across all care services. Act as a strategic partner for clinical, operational, and external stakeholders. **Expectations** - Align informatics initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory compliance. - Deliver measurable improvements in workflow, patient safety, and decision support. - Foster a culture of continuous learning, evidence‑based practice, and data‑driven quality improvement. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Clinical Systems Integration & Optimization** – lead implementation and continuous improvement of clinical information systems; evaluate emerging technologies; coordinate documentation best practices. 2. **Data Governance, Analytics & Reporting** – enforce data privacy and integrity; develop dashboards, reports, and analytics for decision support; conduct audits. 3. **Education, Training & Change Management** – design adult‑learning training programs; apply structured change models; mentor staff; support onboarding. 4. **Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration** – liaise with clinical teams, IT, vendors, and partners; evaluate vendor contracts; participate in regional/national informatics networks. **Required Skills** - Clinical informatics & health information systems expertise. - Strong project management, stakeholder communication, and change‑management skills (ADKAR, Kotter). - Data governance, analytics, and reporting proficiency. - Adult‑learning design and training delivery. - Interdisciplinary collaboration and vendor management. - Knowledge of health regulations (HIPAA, PHIPA, GDPR). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Health Information Management, or related field. - Certified Health Informatics Professional (CHIP) or equivalent preferred. - Credentials in project management (PMP, Prince2) or change management (Prosci) are a plus.
