**Job Title:** Ecommerce Marketing Content Specialist
**Role Summary:**
Develop, manage, and optimize high‑converting, retailer‑specific content across major eCommerce platforms (Amazon, Chewy, Walmart.com). Ensure brand consistency, SEO excellence, and compliance with platform policies while driving organic and paid traffic to increase sales and brand visibility.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver accurate, compliant, and engaging product information for new and existing items.
- Maintain up‑to‑date brand store and A+ content aligned with seasonal and promotional calendars.
- Analyze and act on digital shelf insights to fill content gaps and boost rankings.
- Lead A/B testing of copy, images, and video to identify best practices.
- Create and refine media‑optimized ad copy for search and display campaigns.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Produce and refresh PDP content: titles, bullets, descriptions, images, videos, and below‑the‑fold sections.
- Schedule and execute quarterly content reviews and updates.
- Coordinate brand store updates, ensuring alignment with national campaigns and seasonal events.
- Utilize search terms and digital shelf tools (e.g., Profitero, Salsify) to inform content strategy and identify whitespace opportunities.
- Monitor and adhere to platform content policies to avoid listing suppression.
- Collaborate with external agencies and internal brand, shopper, and category teams to translate insights into content plans.
- Design and test ad copy and creatives for search and display campaigns across paid placements.
- Maintain an organized ad copy library with version control for reuse.
- Analyze ad performance and implement data‑driven optimizations in partnership with marketing managers.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong writing and editing with an emphasis on eCommerce copy.
- Proficiency with SEO best practices and keyword research for digital shelf.
- Experience managing content on Amazon, Walmart, Chewy, and similar platforms.
- Familiarity with digital shelf and product information management tools (Profitero, Salsify, etc.).
- Knowledge of paid media platforms (Amazon DSP, Google Ads, etc.) and ad copy optimization.
- A/B testing methodology and analytic skills.
- Excellent project management, collaboration, and communication abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline.
- Preferred certifications: Digital Marketing, SEO, Google Analytics, Amazon Advertising, or equivalent eCommerce content certifications.
