Job Description
**Job Title:** Project Manager – Battery Energy Storage (BESS) Development **Role Summary:** Lead end‑to‑end execution of 3‑5 early‑ to mid‑stage front‑of‑the‑meter BESS projects, driving site control through LNTP. Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams, manage consultants, and ensure scope, schedule, budget, and risk are on track. **Expactations:** - Own daily development activities for assigned projects and lead internal/external status meetings. - Anticipate permitting and interconnection risks; propose mitigations and trade‑off decisions. - Deliver Investment Committee‑ready materials and ensure LNTP exit packages meet quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and maintain integrated schedules, decision logs, risk registers, and permit matrices; provide weekly status and look‑ahead reports. - Drive entitlement processes (pre‑applications, zoning, site plans, fire/life‑safety reviews) with planners, engineers, and counsel. - Coordinate interconnection data (one‑lines, POIs, load letters) with grid consultants; track milestones and study deliverables. - Partner with Real Estate on site control, easements, and ALTA surveys; manage cure actions and legal exhibits. - Prepare concise executive and Investment Committee updates, data‑room hygiene, and CP checklists for LNTP readiness. - Scope, procure, and manage third‑party vendors (land‑use, civil/electrical, fire, environmental, interconnection); enforce deliverables, dates, and acceptance criteria. - Establish development budgets and NTEs, monitor actuals vs. forecast, and issue variance mitigation plans. - Maintain accurate project data in Smartsheet, SiteTracker, Salesforce, and SharePoint. **Required Skills:** - Project management of complex energy infrastructure projects (BESS preferred). - Strong schedule, risk, and budget management; proficiency with Smartsheet or similar tools. - Knowledge of permitting, zoning, interconnection processes, and utility coordination. - Excellent stakeholder communication and cross‑functional leadership. - Vendor/consultant procurement and contract management. - Analytical problem‑solving and data‑driven decision making. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Business, or related field. - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred. - Familiarity with CEQA/NEPA, ALTA, and utility interconnection standards advantageous.

Job Title: Thermal Engineer Role Summary: Design, analyze, and test thermal performance of advanced space hardware. Provide thermal inputs to multidisciplinary teams, develop analytical models and documentation, and execute qualification test campaigns to validate thermal concepts and designs. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality thermal design guidance, comprehensive reports, and test data that support subsystem and system integration in a space‑grade environment.
