Job Description: Job Title: Full‑Stack Developer (JavaScript/TypeScript) – Senior Role Summary: Design, develop, test, and evolve internal web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript with NestJS, NextJS, and PostgreSQL. Ensure performance, scalability, and high code quality through Clean Code practices and Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) principles. Expectations: - Work autonomously while collaborating across technical, product, and domain teams. - Propose product and technical improvements. - Maintain rigorous testing standards and continuous learning. Key Responsibilities: - Implement scalable back‑end services and front‑end interfaces with NestJS and NextJS. - Write clean, well‑documented code following DDD and Clean Code guidelines. - Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests, ensuring high coverage. - Optimize application performance, database queries, and resource utilisation. - Contribute to the continual improvement of the tech stack, including Dockerisation and AWS cloud deployment. - Participate in code reviews, mentor peers, and share knowledge. - Translate business requirements into technical solutions with product and domain experts. Required Skills: - ≥3 years of full‑stack development experience. - Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, NestJS (back‑end) and NextJS (front‑end). - Strong PostgreSQL database design and query optimisation skills. - Deep understanding of Clean Code, SOLID principles, and DDD. - Experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing; test‑driven development. - Familiarity with Docker and AWS cloud services. - Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and collaborative abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Optional: AWS Certified Developer, Node.js, or other relevant certifications.
