Job Description

Job Title: Internal Auditor – IT Applications Role Summary: Responsible for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls over IT applications (SaaS, on‑premises, cloud) and related cyber/security processes. Plans, executes, reports on audit engagements, tracks findings, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to remediate risks. Expectations: - Conduct and lead global/local IT audits in line with internal methodology. - Draft high‑quality audit reports and facilitate finding resolution. - Communicate findings, risks, and remediation status to management and stakeholders. - Maintain an independent, objective stance while challenging management decisions. - Adapt to evolving IT risks and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Manage audit portfolio and perform risk assessments. - Execute fieldwork: document process flows, identify risks, test controls. - Draft audit reports, track findings, and verify remediation actions. - Partner with business units to ensure integrated audit approach. - Escalate issues, delays, or findings to appropriate leadership. Required Skills: - Strong written and verbal communication, including stakeholder engagement. - Analytical, detail‑oriented, and well‑organized with independent judgment. - Proficiency in IT audit fundamentals: pre/post‑implementation, outsourced control environments, audit methodology. - Experience in IT application management, infrastructure, or DevOps roles accepted. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. - Professional certifications preferred: CISA, CCSP, CISSP, PMP, or equivalent in information security, project management, or quality management. ---
