**Job Title:** Sales Representative – Construction **Role Summary:** Drive national growth for telescopic forklift products by prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales within the construction sector. Manage a territory, build long‑term client relationships, and deliver ROI‑focused business cases to key decision makers. **Expectations:** - Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. - Develop a pipeline of new accounts through cold calling and job‑site visits. - Demonstrate measurable value and cost savings of products to prospective buyers. - Collaborate with Sales Manager and support teams for market intelligence. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Identify and prospect new construction accounts via cold calling, networking, and lead generation. 2. Maintain a daily territory schedule; conduct site visits to nurture client relationships. 3. Create and present detailed business cases highlighting benefits, ROI, and savings to decision makers. 4. Analyze market conditions, competitor pricing, and customer needs to tailor proposals. 5. Achieve sales objectives, track performance metrics, and report results to management. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in B2B construction equipment or related sales (minimum 3 years). - Strong prospecting and cold‑calling capabilities. - Track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. - Self‑motivated, goal‑driven, and resilient. - Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within territory. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred (not mandatory). - Sales certifications or training are a plus.
