**Job Title**
Cloud Architect
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and oversee cloud architectures for new projects, enabling large‑scale DevOps adoption for enterprise IT leaders. Provide strategic guidance on cloud provider selection, service deployment, and operational practices. Conduct technical audits, mentor technical teams, and lead the “Move to Cloud” initiatives.
**Expectations**
- Deliver scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of delivery pipelines, monitoring, and quality assurance.
- Foster collaboration between IT, operations, and security stakeholders to achieve industrialized DevOps.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define and architect new cloud infrastructures (public, hybrid, or multi‑cloud) with a focus on DevOps integration.
- Advise on selection and deployment of cloud services from providers such as OVH and Azure.
- Lead technical audits of existing environments, identify gaps, and recommend remediation plans.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and related tooling.
- Train and coach technical teams on cloud best practices, automation, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with security & compliance teams to meet ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Represent the organization in client presentations, proposals, and industry events.
**Required Skills**
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (OVH, Azure) and associated services (VMware, containers, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab).
- Strong DevOps mindset: continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and monitoring.
- Experience designing and deploying complex, highly available, and secure cloud architectures.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills to anticipate and mitigate operational risks.
- Excellent written and oral communication; ability to build client relationships and mentor peers.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven professional experience in cloud architecture and DevOps (minimum 3–5 years).
- Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar) are highly desirable.
