Bilingual Events Coordinator (12-month Contract)
**Role Summary**
Coordinate and execute in‑person, hybrid, and virtual events for a national law firm, handling venue booking, gifting, registration, and post‑event analysis while maintaining bilingual communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
**Expectations**
- Work full‑time in Montreal; flexible hours during peak periods and occasional evenings.
- Communicate in both French and English (oral & written).
- Operate within a hybrid, high‑volume environment, meeting tight deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality, professional maturity, and teamwork across multiple offices.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Source and book venues, entertainment, gifts, and related services.
- Prepare onsite event materials and manage on‑site registration and delivery.
- Create and update invitation lists, track RSVPs and attendance in Salesforce.
- Produce event reports, analyze metrics, and provide insights.
- Coordinate seasonal and ad‑hoc client gifting initiatives.
- Process invoices, reconcile credit‑card statements, and manage budgets.
- Collaborate with firm teams (Marketing, Finance, Legal Services) to align event objectives.
- Escalate issues to the Client Relations Manager and maintain project documentation.
- Contribute to additional projects and continuous improvement of event processes.
**Required Skills**
- Minimum 2 years event‑coordination experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (mandatory).
- Strong verbal & written communication; attention to detail.
- Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Salesforce; knowledge of SharePoint an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and work under pressure.
- Experience with virtual event platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc.) an asset.
- Professional maturity, discretion, and client‑centric mindset.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Post‑secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a diploma in Event Management (preferred).
- No specific certifications required, but relevant event‑management credentials (e.g., CMP, CCM) considered a plus.
