**Job Title**
Director, International Benefits
**Role Summary**
Strategic leader responsible for designing, executing, and scaling employee benefits programs across all international markets for an Employer‑of‑Record platform. Owns global benefits strategy, builds vendor relationships, and leads a distributed benefits team to deliver compliant, competitive, and differentiated offerings that drive customer acquisition and retention.
**Expectations**
- Define and implement a multi‑region benefits strategy aligned with global growth goals.
- Build and manage broker/carrier relationships to secure pricing and service excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a global benefits team, establishing clear ownership and performance metrics.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Product, Operations, Sales, Customer Success, and US Risk & Insurance to integrate benefits into the platform and customer experience.
- Deliver consistent renewal processes, compliance oversight, and analytical insights for cost, utilization, and satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Develop and execute multi‑country benefits strategy, ensuring competitiveness and regulatory compliance.
2. Guide a distributed team of benefits specialists, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
3. Negotiate and maintain relationships with global brokers, carriers, and service providers.
4. Identify, evaluate, and launch regionally relevant benefits (wellness, family support, mental health, flexibility, etc.).
5. Own the global renewal calendar, data integrity, and execution timelines.
6. Ensure statutory compliance across all countries; manage documentation and audit readiness.
7. Produce unified analytics on cost, utilization, and satisfaction; collaborate with Finance on budgeting.
8. Drive clear, engaging communications for benefits launches and updates worldwide.
9. Facilitate cross‑functional execution with payroll, legal, HRIS, and product teams for seamless operations.

**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in international benefits, HR, or related field; experience in Employer‑of‑Record or SaaS HR solutions preferred.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP), or equivalent are strongly preferred.
