Job Description

Job Title: Team Leader Role Summary: Lead warehouse shift operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and compliance. Coach and develop staff, maintain 5S and Opertune standards, and act as a liaison between the team and management. Expectations: * Meet volume, quality, and efficiency targets consistently. * Operate during shifts Monday‑Friday 23:00‑07:30, with flexibility for alternate shifts or locations. * Uphold all regulatory and safety standards (H&S, Mail Integrity, CDG, Data Protection). * Step into supervisory role when required. Key Responsibilities: * Manage shift activities: prioritize, delegate tasks and coordinate staff schedules. * Monitor attendance, conduct, and performance against company policy. * Provide coaching and training from induction onward; support career development. * Prepare and report on KPIs, absence, skills, and health & safety metrics. * Conduct team briefs and debriefs, fostering clear communication and collaboration. * Enforce and continuously improve SOPs, Opertune, and 5S initiatives. * Carry out quality checks to verify process compliance. * Record and report incidents, accidents, or near misses accurately. Required Skills: * Strong verbal and written communication. * Ability to give constructive feedback and influence performance. * Excellent organizational and multitasking under pressure. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. * Leadership by example with a professional approach. Required Education & Certifications: * Minimum of 1 year experience in 3PL, FMCG, or downstream access environment. * Forklift licence (FLT) required for supervisory roles. * First Aid, Fire Warden or relevant Health & Safety training (preferred).
