Product Owner

Job Description

**Job Title:** Product Owner **Role Summary** Own the evolution and industrialization of an advanced automated visual inspection system for ophthalmic lens manufacturing. Coordinate between product definition, field deployment, data‑driven performance assessment, and customer adoption to deliver a scalable, regulated production solution. **Expectations** - Deliver a high‑quality, repeatable inspection solution that meets regulatory and manufacturing standards. - Lead deployment projects on customer sites and drive operational readiness. - Translate customer and field feedback into actionable product improvements. **Key Responsibilities** - Define and maintain product roadmap, prioritize features, and manage backlog. - Translate user needs, field observations, and performance data into specifications. - Collaborate closely with optics, software, and algorithm teams. - Support serial production preparation and maintain serviceability guidelines. - Lead on‑site deployment projects: installation, commissioning, operator training, and ramp‑up. - Collect and analyze production data: detection results, false accept/reject rates, thresholds, and KPIs. - Act as primary technical liaison during early production phases. **Required Skills** - Strong product ownership and project management experience. - Proficiency in data‑driven performance evaluation of optical inspection systems. - Knowledge of regulated manufacturing environments (medical devices, pharma, diagnostics). - Excellent communication and stakeholder management (operators, quality teams, engineers). - Hands‑on technical mindset and willingness to travel for customer site engagement. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s or PhD in engineering or applied sciences (optics, physics, mechatronics, biomedical, automation). - 5+ years of experience in optical inspection, machine vision, industrial instrumentation, or automated quality control. - Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards in high‑precision manufacturing (ISO 13485, GMP, etc.).
