**Job title:** Vice President Operations **Role Summary:** Lead and scale day‑to‑day operations across multiple facilities. Transform strategic objectives into repeatable, efficient systems. Direct plant management and core functions (Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, Customer Service). Own metrics, operating rhythm, and problem resolution to drive measurable outcomes. **Expactations:** - Proven operator with rapid advancement in scope and responsibility. - Experience building operational systems in small‑to‑mid sized environments; not inheriting ready‑made structures. - Demonstrated improvement of processes and outcomes through direct involvement. - Ability to thrive in ambiguity by establishing structure and clarity. - Judgement, drive, and execution capability under pressure. **Key Responsibilities:** - Full accountability for day‑to‑day operations across multiple plants. - Translate strategic plans into simple, repeatable operating systems. - Lead Plant Managers and coordinate across Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, and Customer Service. - Develop and enforce metrics, operating rhythms, and accountability frameworks. - Detect operational breakdowns early and personally resolve them before delegating. - Maintain close engagement with plant staff and embedded in decision‑making. **Required Skills:** - Operational leadership in a growth‑oriented, small‑ to mid‑size environment. - Cross‑functional collaboration and team leadership. - Strategy translation into actionable processes and measurable KPIs. - Change management and problem‑solving in ambiguous settings. - Strong analytical and data‑driven decision making. - Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management. - Resilience and ability to operate effectively under pressure. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field. - Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) or certifications (PMP, Six Sigma, APICS CSCP) considered an advantage.
