Job Description
Job Title: International Affairs Internship (Portuguese or Spanish Bilingual) – Summer/Fall ’26 Role Summary: Provide research, media monitoring, and content creation support for the Office of the Executive Chairman in Latin America. Assist global public affairs campaigns by analyzing data, drafting briefs, and translating materials in Portuguese and/or Spanish. Expectations: - 40‑hour workweek, Monday‑Friday, with hybrid flexibility. - U.S. work authorization required; no consideration for CPT/OPT/Post‑OPT candidates. - Deliver high‑quality research, translations, and written content on schedule. - Maintain tight attention to detail and accuracy across all deliverables. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct analytical research on issues affecting clients in Portuguese and Spanish‑speaking countries. - Monitor media coverage and social media platforms in Latin America. - Write, translate, edit, and proofread client deliverables, including briefings, fact sheets, and editorial content. - Draft briefs for new business opportunities and support proposal development. - Identify and compile media contact lists relevant to client interests. - Assist with monitoring news events and issue tracking. - Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior team members. Required Skills: - Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese and/or Spanish. - Excellent written and oral communication in both languages and English. - Strong research, analytical, and data interpretation abilities. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. - Detail‑oriented editing and proofreading skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Current senior in college or recent graduate, with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in International Relations, Political Science, Communications, or related field. - Preferred: coursework, study abroad, or work experience in a Portuguese and/or Spanish‑speaking country.
