Job Description
**Job Title:** Security Consultant **Role Summary:** Provide assessment, design, and implementation of physical and operational security solutions for government and commercial clients. Develop comprehensive security plans, conduct risk evaluations, and deliver training while supporting business development and project management. **Expectations:** - Deliver technical reports, policies, and training materials. - Engage clients and agencies, facilitating security program development. - Travel up to 15–25 % of the year across the U.S. - Pass stringent background checks and drug screening. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Conduct threat/vulnerability and risk assessments. 2. Design physical security systems and hardening strategies. 3. Develop and implement security plans, policies, and procedures. 4. Prepare technical reports, after‑action summaries, and presentations. 5. Deliver security training and exercise oversight. 6. Coordinate with law‑enforcement, regulatory bodies, and emergency management agencies. 7. Manage client relationships and support business‑development activities. **Required Skills:** - Strong technical writing and presentation abilities. - Knowledge of electronic security platforms (video, access controls, etc.). - Proficiency with MS Office, laptops, and related tools. - Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams. - Familiarity with emergency management and security frameworks (FEMA, IPC, etc.). - US citizenship, valid driver’s license, and travel capability. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in security, emergency management, systems engineering, homeland security, or related field. - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience. - Preferred certifications: CPP, PSP, CPTED, or other ASIS qualifications. - Master’s degree and additional security certifications (e.g., BPATS, ISC) are advantageous.
