Job Description
Job Title: Tech Business Analyst / Project Manager Role Summary: Lead business analysis and project delivery for enterprise reporting projects, bridging technical teams and business stakeholders. Own requirements gathering, solution design, backlog grooming, and coordination of offshore development. Drive automation of reporting workflows while maintaining business-as-usual reporting. Expactations: • 14+ years of integrated BA and PM experience, preferably in financial services. • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder communications, including executives and technical leads. • Demonstrated success in developing and executing reporting solutions that include automation of recurring deliverables. • Independent initiative with strong risk and dependency management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Analyze current reporting processes, document state, and design future-state automated solutions. 2. Define solution architecture, data and reporting workflow, and dependencies for offshore development. 3. Create executive-level reporting dashboards and custom data analyses. 4. Groom and prioritize backlog items; ensure alignment with business value and technical feasibility. 5. Manage end-to-end delivery of reporting solutions, coordinating across cross-functional teams. 6. Maintain and safeguard existing business-as-usual reporting operations. 7. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and resource constraints. Required Skills: • Business Analysis – requirements elicitation, solution design, process improvement, backlog creation/grooming. • Project Management – planning, coordination of cross-team dependencies, PMO process adherence. • Stakeholder Management – effective communication with technical teams, business partners, executives, and C‑suite. • Data & Reporting – advanced Excel, SQL, BI design. • BI Platforms – Power BI, Snowflake (or equivalent). • Agile & Tools – Jira, Confluence. • (Highly Preferred) PMO processes and Capital Markets/Financial Services domain knowledge. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. • 14+ years combined BA/PM experience. • PMP, Prince2, or CBAP certification is an advantage.
