Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer
Role Summary: Lead front‑end development of a multi‑tenant knowledge graph platform, turning Figma designs into pixel‑perfect, WCAG‑2.1 AA compliant React components, building performance‑optimized visualizations, integrating secure APIs, and establishing best practices in a fast‑paced, early‑stage product environment.
Expactations: Deliver high‑quality UI components, maintain a robust component library, optimize performance and security, ensure accessibility compliance, drive design quality, provide constructive feedback, and independently own front‑end architecture while collaborating with designers and backend teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate Figma designs into responsive React components using Mantine UI with dark‑mode and accessibility standards.
- Build and maintain a reusable component library (Storybook, design tokens).
- Implement 2‑D knowledge‑graph visualizations with D3, including animations and micro‑interactions.
- Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, manage state, and implement secure authentication flows.
- Optimize front‑end performance through code splitting, lazy loading, memoization, and observability.
- Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright).
- Enforce front‑end security (CSP, XSS prevention, secure token handling).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, conduct design reviews, and provide implementation guidance.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years building React 18+ + TypeScript applications with hooks, Suspense, and concurrent rendering.
- Advanced CSS (Flexbox, Grid, CSS‑in‑JS, animations, responsive design).
- 3+ years translating Figma designs into production code.
- 3+ years experience with component libraries (Mantine UI, Material‑UI).
- 3+ years data‑visualization expertise (D3.js, Three.js).
- 5+ years performance engineering (code splitting, lazy loading, memoization).
- 3+ years front‑end testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright).
- WCAG 2.1 AA compliance knowledge, accessibility tools, assistive technologies.
- Storybook component documentation and design‑token usage.
- Agile collaboration with designers and backend engineers.
- Secure coding practices (CSP, XSS defense, authentication).
- Strong design sense for spacing, typography, color, and interaction states.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Design, Computer Science, or related field.
