Job Description
Job title: Commercial Real Estate Administrator Role Summary: A post‑graduate entry‑level role focused on managing lease data, financial transactions, and compliance across a large corporate real‑estate portfolio. The position supports lease administration platforms, ERP systems, and cross‑functional teams in finance, legal, and operations. Expectations: Demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills; learn and apply lease administration, accounting (ASC 842), and payment reconciliation processes; manage deadlines in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment; provide accurate data and documentation for audit and compliance purposes. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and update lease and financial records in Tango and Oracle Cloud. • Track lease milestones (expiries, renewals, obligations) and coordinate documentation for acquisitions, sales, and subleases. • Process rent payments, invoices, brokerage commissions, and sub‑tenant billing; resolve coding issues across Oracle Cloud, Oracle R12, and SAP. • Assist with annual operating cost reconciliations (CAM/OpEx) and lease audits. • Support accounts receivable activities related to rent collection. • Manage supplier set‑up, insurance certificate requests, and broker deliverables. • Monitor lease lifecycle touchpoints to mitigate compliance risks and flag landlord performance issues. Required Skills: • Detail oriented, high level of accuracy and data integrity. • Strong written and verbal communication; problem‑solving mindset. • Ability to navigate and learn multiple ERP and lease administration platforms. • Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data cleanup). • Prior exposure to real‑estate terminology and lease accounting (ASC 842) is advantageous. Required Education & Certifications: • Post‑secondary credential in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Real Estate, Finance, Urban Studies, or a related field. • Co‑op, internship or project experience in data management, finance, or real‑estate operations.
