**Job Title**: Application Security Engineer **Role Summary**: Secure AI-native coaching platform for Fortune 500 clients by driving application and infrastructure security standards, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with enterprise-grade security practices. **Expectations**: - Seasoned in application security with cross-domain adaptability. - Hands-on experience in security tooling, threat modeling, and incident response. - Proficiency in AI security, adversarial testing, and enterprise security frameworks. **Key Responsibilities**: - Conduct code reviews, architecture assessments, and manual penetration testing. - Advise engineering teams on secure design and infrastructure best practices (AWS focus). - Develop security tooling to scale security practices across product development. - Support DevOps and enterprise clients on security compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST). - Participate in incident response and security process improvements. **Required Skills**: - Application security expertise (OWASP Top 10, threat modeling). - Practical Python/TypeScript coding skills; experience with AI/ML security tools. - Understanding of infrastructure security, compliance frameworks, and enterprise security processes. - Client-facing communication for security assessments and response. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field. - Preferred certifications: CISSP, CEH, or equivalent in application security.
