**Job Title:**
Azure Architect (Onsite)
**Role Summary:**
Designs, implements, and manages secure, scalable Microsoft Azure solutions that align with business goals. Leads end‑to‑end cloud adoption projects—including architecture, migration, and operations—while enforcing governance, cost optimization, and security best practices. Engages cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable, performance‑centric cloud services.
**Expectations:**
* 12+ years in IT with deep architectural expertise.
* 7+ years focused on Azure architecture and cloud‑native delivery.
* Proven experience leading large‑scale Azure implementations, data migrations, and DevOps‑enabled deployments.
* Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
* Ability to operate autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Engage with clients to understand requirements, mitigate risks, and advise on cloud strategy.
* Architect comprehensive Azure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) emphasizing reliability, security, performance, and cost.
* Lead migrations, proof‑of‑concepts, and production deployments for virtual machines, storage, networking, app services, APIs, and Kubernetes.
* Implement security, compliance, and governance controls across the Azure ecosystem.
* Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless transition and alignment with business objectives.
* Stay current with new Azure services and emerging technologies; recommend IT transformation initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
* Deep knowledge of Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Identity, Databases, and Data Platforms.
* Expertise in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation (ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep).
* Strong problem‑solving and strategic thinking abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Familiarity with SDLC, agile practices, and stakeholder management.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (AZ‑305) preferred.
* Additional relevant certifications: AZ‑104, AZ‑303, AZ‑500, or similar.
