Job Description
Job title: Business Analyst Role Summary: The Business Analyst leads solution delivery from requirements gathering to Agile or Waterfall implementation, serving as the primary liaison between clients, project managers, and development teams. The role focuses on optimizing business processes, creating user stories, and ensuring that solution designs meet business value and technical feasibility. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality business analyses and user requirements, mentor and support developers, maintain project documentation, and ensure client satisfaction through clear communication and proactive problem solving. Key Responsibilities: - Lead solution delivery: gather requirements, design solutions, define user stories and acceptance criteria; manage timelines and deliverables in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall environments. - Serve as functional lead on complex projects; collaborate with strategy, architecture, and third‑party integrators. - Create and maintain technical documentation (matrices, flow diagrams, API definitions). - Mentor and coach developers; act as technical advocate within the team. - Facilitate client workshops, webinars, training sessions; present complex information clearly to executives and technical stakeholders. - Conduct day‑to‑day troubleshooting of in‑house production systems; support post‑live operations. - Manage cross‑team coordination using collaboration tools (JIRA, Trello). Required Skills: - 5+ years business analysis on large, complex technology projects, especially in manufacturing (sales and customer service). - Experience leading Agile and Waterfall projects, creating comprehensive user stories, and driving solutions through to implementation and support. - Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and reporting skills; ability to model and improve business processes. - Excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency in creating concise documentation and delivering presentations. - Expertise in CRM (Salesforce), loyalty programs, eCommerce integrations, ERP (Oracle JDE) a plus. - Familiarity with collaboration tools and SDLC methodology; ability to navigate ambiguity and simplify complex situations. Required Education & Certifications: - University degree (Bachelor’s) required. - PMI‑PBA certification considered an asset.
