Job Description

**Job Title** Enterprise Architect – Security Cleared (12‑month contract) **Role Summary** Provide enterprise architecture vision, strategy and roadmaps across business, technology and data domains. Lead the design and delivery of cross‑cutting capabilities, influence stakeholders, and drive change initiatives to achieve value, scalability and risk reduction for the organization. **Expectations** - 12‑month contract with occasional on‑site travel. - Maintain required security clearance. - Own and evolve the enterprise architecture framework, principles, policies and standards. - Act as an advisor to senior business and technical leaders. - Deliver architecture solutions that align with strategic objectives and budgetary constraints. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Identify priorities for change and enable rapid delivery. 2. Own and communicate the enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and roadmaps (as‑is, to‑be, transitional). 3. Consult and collaborate with business units to support alignment and integration of solutions. 4. Understand the organization’s ecosystem, reference architectures and interdependencies. 5. Guide business, technology and data decisions, recommending reuse, sustainability and scalability. 6. Establish and enforce architectural principles, policies and standards. 7. Develop and grow the architecture community, coaching staff on best practices. 8. Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and assess impact. 9. Manage architectural risk, governance and assurance activities. 10. Resolve high‑level conflicts and unblock issues across teams or departments. 11. Liaise with procurement to evaluate suppliers and contractual frameworks. **Required Skills** - Enterprise architecture strategy and vision development. - Influence and stakeholder management across technical and non‑technical audiences. - Communication, mediation and facilitation in complex architectural discussions. - Risk assessment, decision making and governance implementation. - Community building, coaching and knowledge sharing. - Trend analysis, horizon scanning and resilience planning. - Commercial acumen: contract frameworks, supplier selection. - Conflict resolution and problem definition. **Required Education & Certifications** - TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) certification. - ISEB (Information Systems Examination Board) qualification. - One of the following: ITIL, IT4IT or COBIT certification.
