Job Description
Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Administrator Role Summary: Lead design, development, and administration of ServiceNow environments, providing end‑user support, governance, integration, and continuous improvement across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and related modules. Expectations: 5+ years of ServiceNow or equivalent experience; 2+ years in agile or ITIL environments (preferred). Must manage user accounts, training, change processes, and backup/recovery while ensuring system stability and security. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver end‑user support, including account administration and permissions governance. - Develop and conduct training for end users, power users, and admins on ITAM, ITOM, ITSM, IH, SPM, CMDB, SAM, HAM, Incident, Demand, Request, and Change modules. - Design, build, and deploy ServiceNow sites and change control improvements in collaboration with internal communications and vendor partners. - Maintain governance policies, data integration from external sources, and proactive system monitoring. - Review, apply releases and upgrades, and manage major software updates for the ServiceNow app and underlying operating systems. - Implement change management procedures, backup/recovery strategies, and quality assurance processes. - Produce and update the ServiceNow “State of the Environment” document, providing capacity, performance, and improvement plans. - Contribute project information to annual budgeting and oversight. Required Skills: - Comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, ITSM, IH, SPM, CMDB, SAM, HAM, Incident, Demand, Request, Change). - Scripting (JavaScript), database concepts, and integration techniques. - Governance, change management, and ITIL best practices. - Agile delivery methodologies. - Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (minimum). - Prefer ServiceNow Certified Administrator or corresponding certifications. - 8 years of ServiceNow experience can offset formal education requirement.
