**Job Title** Account Manager **Role Summary** Manage and grow existing elevator, escalator, and moving walk accounts for a leading industry provider. Build strong client relationships, identify and pursue upsell and renewal opportunities, and collaborate across technical and sales teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs while achieving company sales and profitability targets. **Expectations** - Achieve or exceed targeted sales revenue and customer retention metrics. - Maintain high customer satisfaction scores and timely resolution of service queries. - Ensure accurate account documentation, proposals, and contract administration. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain favorable relationships with building owners, architects, developers, and maintenance teams. - Understand customer requirements and advise on product application (layout data, specifications). - Identify, pursue, and negotiate new sales opportunities, including service, repair, and modernization proposals. - Prepare and present sales proposals and cost estimates. - Work with contract control to finalize sales agreements and track contract status. - Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collection. - Conduct competitive market analysis to recommend pricing and strategy. - Liaise with internal technical and service teams to address customer concerns with minimal disruption. - Update and maintain accurate customer records in the sales database. - Participate in ongoing product and sales training programs. **Required Skills** - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. - Negotiation and persuasion abilities to secure customer acceptance. - Clear presentation skills for engaging stakeholders. - Effective problem‑solving with a focus on customer outcomes. - Team collaboration across all organizational levels. - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). **Required Education & Certifications** - Post‑secondary degree (Business, Engineering, or related discipline preferred). - 3–5 years experience in the elevator, escalator, or related capital‑equipment sales, installation, or service industry. *(No specific certifications listed; industry knowledge and sales experience are emphasized.)*
