Job Description
Job Title: Associate Manager - Medical Information Role Summary: Lead medical information (MI) activities for advanced therapy products (cell‑based, oncology, immunotherapy). Act as subject‑matter expert, develop and manage MI content, respond to unsolicited queries, oversee escalation, and analyze MI metrics to drive strategic improvement. Expactations: - Provide timely, accurate, balanced responses to inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and internal stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and company SOPs. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support product launch and lifecycle. - Enhance MI quality through continuous content review and process optimization. Key Responsibilities - Serve as MI expert for assigned advanced therapy products and therapeutic areas. - Draft, edit, and quality‑check Standard Response Documents (SRDs) and other MI materials. - Maintain MI repository, conduct literature surveillance, and update content following regulatory or scientific developments. - Escalate complex inquiries to vendors or call‑centres and ensure consistent communication quality. - Identify and report adverse events and product quality complaints per SOPs. - Train MI vendors, internal teams, and cross‑functional partners on content and processes. - Generate, review, and analyze MI performance metrics; identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for content improvement. - Manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational and project‑management skills. Required Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex science into clear messaging. - Strong interpersonal and cross‑functional collaboration skills, including working with geographically dispersed teams. - Deep understanding of regulatory and legal requirements governing MI in pharma. - Analytical skills to interpret clinical, biomedical, and scientific data. - Problem‑solving and project‑management experience. - Familiarity with digital/omnichannel MI delivery platforms. Required Education & Certifications - Advanced scientific or clinical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) preferred. - Valid, active professional license (if applicable). - Minimum 2–3 years of MI experience in the pharmaceutical industry; experience with cell therapy, oncology, or immunotherapy highly desirable. - Experience managing MI vendors or call‑centre partners.
