Job Description: Job Title: Software Developer in Test (Contract) Role Summary: Contract SDET responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated test frameworks, ensuring production support, and delivering high‑quality testing services for web, mobile, and API endpoints. Expectations: - Deliver reliable test frameworks on schedule. - Provide production support and maintain framework uptime. - Produce clear bug reports and status metrics. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks (TestNG, Jenkins, Maven, Node). - Write, debug, and review automation scripts (JavaScript, TypeScript). - Automate UI, mobile, and API testing using Selenium, Appium, WebdriverIO or equivalents. - Manage version control and configuration of test assets. - Integrate CI/CD pipelines and enforce coding best practices. - Analyze test results, generate dashboards, and report release metrics. - Collaborate with test team and stakeholders; attend weekly test meetings. Required Skills: - 5+ years software development and testing experience. - 3+ years UI/mobile and API automation. - Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript scripting. - Experience with TestNG, Jenkins, Maven, Node, Selenium, Appium, WebdriverIO. - CI/CD, Agile & Waterfall project experience. - Strong debugging, code review, and documentation skills. - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - ISTQB certification (preferred).
