**Job Title:** Senior WebMethods Developer
**Role Summary:**
Seasoned integration specialist with 5+ years of hands‑on experience on Software AG’s webMethods platform, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex integration solutions across multiple data formats and middleware technologies.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience with webMethods Integration Server (v10 or higher).
- Proven ability to deliver high‑quality integration services in a contract/consulting environment.
- Participate in an in‑person customer interview as part of the selection process.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and configure flow services, JDBC, JMS, MQ, Java, and Kafka adapters within webMethods.
- Implement and maintain trading networks, MyWebMethods Server, and Deployer components.
- Handle data transformation and mapping for ISO 20022, EDI, XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, SOAP, and flat‑file formats.
- Manage source control for Integration Server artifacts.
- Utilize Optimize for Process, BPM workflow, Optimize for Infrastructure, and CAF Plus for performance monitoring and governance.
- Collaborate with database teams to integrate Oracle DB operations.
- Perform root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting of integration failures.
**Required Skills:**
- webMethods Integration Server (v10+), Broker, Trading Networks, MyWebMethods, Deployer.
- Adapter development: JDBC, JMS, MQ, Java, Kafka.
- Data format expertise: ISO 20022, EDI, XML/XSD, XSLT, WSDL, SOAP, flat files.
- Oracle Database fundamentals.
- Source control (e.g., Git, SVN) for Integration Server artifacts.
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Experience with webMethods Optimize suite and CAF Plus.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Software AG webMethods Certified Developer) are preferred but not mandatory.
