Job Description

Job Title: Mobile Test Automation Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain automated mobile test suites using Appium with C#. Execute functional, regression, and integration tests across Android and iOS platforms, collaborate with developers to resolve defects, and support continuous quality improvement within an Agile environment. Expectations: 3+ years of mobile test automation experience; proven proficiency in Appium (C#); solid background in manual testing, SQL, and REST API testing; strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; familiarity with Agile practices and test frameworks such as xUnit; ability to document test results and contribute to process improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Convert manual test cases into robust Appium test scripts using C#. - Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile applications. - Conduct functional, regression, integration, and (if possible) non‑functional testing. - Collaborate closely with development teams to identify, analyze, and track defects. - Participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies. - Define and document test plans, test cases, and test results. - Continuously improve test coverage, performance, and reliability of mobile test suites. Required Skills: - Appium automation (C#) – script authoring, debugging, and maintenance. - Manual and automated testing fundamentals. - Basic SQL querying and RESTful API validation. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities. - Experience with test frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, etc.) and Agile methodologies. - Knowledge of non‑functional testing (performance, security) is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). - ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent automation certification advantageous.
