Job Title: Embedded Software Solutions Architect – Aerospace/Defense
Role Summary:
Design, architect, and promote low‑level embedded software solutions for aerospace, space, defense, and naval sectors. Bridge commercial requirements with technical execution, leading pre‑sales activities, solution development, and partner ecosystem building while ensuring compliance with critical industry standards.
Expectations:
- Deliver high‑quality embedded architecture that meets stringent safety and performance criteria.
- Generate new revenue opportunities through targeted solution development and market analysis.
- Drive cross‑functional alignment between commercial, technical, and strategic teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support sales and business development teams in interpreting technical requirements for embedded systems.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities focused on real‑time and critical‑level embedded software solutions.
- Promote and showcase the organization’s embedded software portfolio to potential clients.
- Architect integrated embedded solutions from driver, BSP, RTOS layers through complete system architectures.
- Maintain expertise on embedded technologies, low‑level architectures, industry standards, and emerging trends.
- Align market demands, technical roadmaps, internal capabilities, and investment priorities.
- Build and nurture a technology partner ecosystem to open new business channels.
Required Skills:
- 15+ years of experience in low‑level embedded software architecture or critical systems.
- Proven expertise in aerospace, space, or naval industry with deep understanding of DO178C, ARINC, MISRA, and related standards.
- Strong grasp of RTOS, device drivers, low‑level communication protocols, CPU/microcontroller architectures, and their integration into business use cases.
- Demonstrated pre‑sales competence (RFI/RFQ responses, proposal development).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong coordination, technical leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (equivalent to Bac+5).
- Certifications or demonstrated knowledge in DO178C, MISRA, ARINC, or other critical system standards.
