Job Description
**Job Title:** E/E Diagnostics Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead the development, testing, and delivery of automotive update packs using the Flamingo automated update tool. Serve as the primary technical liaison for vehicle update issues, coordinating with version management and vehicle update centres to ensure seamless integration across systems. **Expectations:** - Manage the full lifecycle of vehicle update scripts and packs from conception to release. - Provide expert technical troubleshooting for update-related incidents. - Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Aftersales teams. - Maintain compliance with UNECE vehicle update regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Generate automated vehicle update scripts in Flamingo. - Participate in change control meetings to capture requirements. - Create bespoke test scripts, validate baseline and system compatibility. - Produce Beta and Final update packs for project vehicles. - Test and validate updates on fleet vehicles; identify integration dependencies. - Analyze update results, resolve roll‑out blocking issues. - Ensure UNECE regulatory compliance for vehicle updates. - Offer technical support and recommendations to internal stakeholders. - Administer Flamingo tool access and onboard new users. **Required Skills:** - Deep knowledge of VW Group electrical architecture. - Hands‑on experience with vehicle flashing, configuration, and diagnostics. - Proficiency in scripting and diagnostic tools. - Familiarity with systems management and car‑specific configurations. - Experience with CP Tool, Vector, and similar automotive software tools. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - Relevant automotive diagnostics certifications (e.g., manufacturer‑specific, if available).

Job Description
Job Title: Validation Engineer Role Summary Plan, conduct, and evaluate dynamic and static vehicle validation events for a luxury automotive manufacturer, ensuring comprehensive testing of key vehicle systems and identification of customer‑relevant concerns. Expectations * Deliver high‑quality test itineraries and drive plans in collaboration with technical teams. * Lead vehicle assessments during events, driving lead vehicles and executing structured test drives. * Coordinate vehicle preparation, record and report concerns, and track validation of corrective actions. Key Responsibilities * Develop detailed event itineraries and drive plans. * Lead pre‑production vehicle convoys and conduct structured test drives. * Execute dynamic (proving grounds) and static vehicle tests, following established protocols. * Log and analyze data using CAN analysis tools (e.g., Vector). * Report concerns, track resolutions, and verify fixes in subsequent assessments. * Utilize scheduling and route‑planning tools (Excel, JIRA, or bespoke systems). * Provide technical input on powertrain, chassis, ADAS, or infotainment validation as required. * Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure event readiness. Required Skills * Proven experience in system testing, validation, and verification engineering. * Knowledge of at least one key automotive system (powertrain, chassis, ADAS, infotainment). * Hands‑on experience with dynamic and static vehicle testing, proving grounds, and road routes. * Familiarity with data logging tools and CAN analysis (Vector or equivalent). * Proficient in itinerary creation, route planning, and event scheduling tools (Excel, JIRA). * Strong analytical and reporting capabilities. * Ability to travel internationally and within the UK. Required Education & Certifications * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Systems Engineering, or related field. * Valid UK driving licence (required). * Advanced driving qualifications (IAM, RoSPA) desirable. * Experience with Vector CAN tools or similar diagnostics tools.
