Provide expert construction law counsel, contract drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment to ensure continuity, cost control, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support and lead recontracting efforts for two early‑stage construction projects, including principal contractor, designer, supplier, and grid‑work agreements.
- Collaborate with construction and procurement teams to address legal issues as project scopes evolve.
- Design and implement new contracting structures to facilitate direct engagement with the supply chain.
- Identify, assess, and communicate risks, constraints, and strategic alternatives that influence timing, cost, and project continuity.
- Advise on supply chain security, contractual rights, and obligations following the EPC contractor’s withdrawal.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalise construction, supply, services, and related agreements required for the new project framework.
Required Skills:
- Senior construction lawyer with 5+ years post‑qualification experience in solar, battery, or other renewable energy projects.
- Deep expertise in construction contracting, supply chain structures, and delivery model restructuring.
- Strong commercial judgment, proactive risk assessment, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and manage complex contractual portfolios.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Qualified legal practitioner (e.g., Solicitor, Barrister, or equivalent).

- No specific additional certifications required; professional development in construction law or renewable energy contracts is an advantage.
